Emily Dobson

Emily Dobson earned her bachelor’s degree in Behavior and Health from Boston University, with minors in Public Health and Psychology, before completing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) at Tufts University in 2024.

Emily began her career at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in October 2024, where she primarily works in the outpatient setting, supporting children and families in achieving greater independence and quality of life. Her connection to Franciscan Children’s began during her Level II fieldwork, where she gained hands-on experience in both outpatient and inpatient service areas.

Beyond pediatrics, Emily has experience in inpatient rehabilitation, working with individuals recovering from spinal cord injuries, and has contributed to program development for a community-based recovery initiative.
