Professional History

Jennifer (Endah) Mbah is a dedicated mental health professional and social advocate with a background in sociology and psychology. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Smith College and her Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College, where she was a Red Sox and Gilman Scholar.

Endah has worked as a school mental health clinician at COMPASS School in Boston and as a therapeutic mentor with Children’s Services of Roxbury and Beats Rhymes and Life. She has a strong background in youth advocacy, community engagement, and mental health support.

Beyond her clinical work, Endah has experience in sales and customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A former varsity squash captain, she brings teamwork, resilience, and leadership to every endeavor.

My philosophy of care is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and a strengths-based approach, recognizing that healing happens in connection with others. I prioritize building trusting relationships and creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered. Guided by trauma-informed and person-centered principles, I tailor my approach to honor each person’s unique identity, lived experiences, and cultural background.

I believe mental health is deeply influenced by systemic factors, and I am committed to advocacy, education, and community engagement to address barriers to care. Through collaboration and resilience-building, my goal is to support holistic well-being and lasting positive change.
