Professional History
Katie has been working in outpatient behavioral health since her graduation from Boston College School of Social Work in 2022 and with a master’s in clinical social work and two certifications in Trauma and Neuroscience in Social Work. She works with a wide range of mental health diagnoses, ages, presentations, and backgrounds. Katie joined the Franciscan Children's Behavioral Health Services team in the summer of 2024.
She works with Adjustment Disorders, Attachment Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, ADHD, Autism, Trauma, Panic, and OCD.
As I have continued to build experience, I have been able to begin developing an approach to care. I utilize evidence-based treatment models, as well as several therapeutic techniques in my work with patients. I see each individual as their own person, with their own strengths, challenges, histories, social experiences and more. My approach to practice is one that combines individualized treatment plans with evidence and research-based models.
