Professional History
Kaylin Presti is a registered nurse with a certification in psychiatric nursing. She began her career in pediatric primary care in 2018 before transitioning to pediatric psychiatric nursing in 2020. She currently serves as Chair of the Professional Development Council at Franciscan Children's Hospital and is an active member of the Restraint Prevention Committee.
Her professional interests include nursing education and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and promote staff development. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing education at Worcester State University.
My philosophy of care centers on trauma-informed, patient and family centered practice. I view mentorship and professional development as integral to high-quality care. I believe that investing in nurses through education, reflection, and support ultimately strengthens patient outcomes.
