Professional History

Lilly has been working at Franciscan Children's Hospital for over 40 years. Lilly first started working as a Nurse on one of the Medical Units for over nine years. Then Lilly worked as a Nursing Supervisor for the next 30 plus years.

I enjoyed working as a Pediatric Nurse at Franciscan Children's Hospital starting on the Medical Units, then as a Nursing Supervisor and currently as a Nurse on the CBAT Unit.

I enjoy working with the Pediatric population and have learned so much as a Pediatric Nurse. I consider Pediatrics as "Little Miracles." There are so many challenges ahead of them but with their resilience they overcome many obstacles; one tiny step at a time and one day at a time. It is so rewarding to see their many achievements along their journey.

Today, there are so many challenges for the Pediatric population both medically and mentally. From preemie babies learning how to breathe on their own to so many children having to figure out their identity and how to fit in with today's world socially.
