Professional History

Chronic respiratory diseases, respiratory failure and ventilator dependence has been the constant focus of her career in Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Kharasch has been in the Childrens Hospital Pulmonary Department for 30 years and now focuses on chronic respiratory failure at Franciscan Childrens Hospital caring for children with high medical complexity who are dependent on technology i.e. positive pressure, ventilators, oxygen for survival.

Compassionate, dedicated care for the child with medical complexity with chronic lung disease has been the theme of her career in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
